Who we work for

Every situation has its quirks. We know them.

Employees

Work-related expenses, pillar 3a, training costs, deductions people often forget.

Self-employed

Business accounts, social insurance contributions, coordination with your bookkeeping.

Retirees

AHV/AVS and occupational pensions, capital withdrawals, medical costs.

Homeowners

Imputed rental value, maintenance costs, mortgage interest, property in another canton.

Beyond the figures

We don't stop at your tax return.

Preparing your tax return means seeing your whole situation: what you earn, what you pay, what you own. That is where the two pieces of advice that pay off most come from — your insurance and your property.

Insurance advice and comparison

Your insurance, gone through carefully

Health, household, liability, legal expenses, life: these premiums come round every month and, contrary to what people often think, they are not deductible franc for franc — the deduction is a flat rate or capped, depending on the canton. In other words: every franc of premium you save stays in your pocket in full.

Your premiums compared with the market
Overlaps, gaps in cover and cover you don't need
Second pillar and pillar 3a, coordinated with your tax position
We handle the cancellations and the switches
Free Reviewing and comparing your policies is free for our clients — tax return or accounting. You only pay if you decide to change something.
Property advice

Your property, from the figures' side

Buying, keeping or selling: each decision has a tax consequence, and it is prepared beforehand, not once the assessment has arrived. Imputed rental value, interest, renovation work, property gains, passing property to your children — we cost the scenarios while there is still a choice to make.

Imputed rental value, interest and renovation work in your return
Maintenance or improvement: what is deductible and what isn't
Buying, selling and property gains tax
Passing property to your children, and inheritance
First discussion free of charge Describe your plan or your situation in a few lines. The first discussion is free of charge: we tell you what is worth costing out, and what can wait.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions about the Swiss tax return

The questions we are asked most often, by phone and by email.

How much does a tax return cost with you?

The price is fixed and given before we start. Three packages, from the simplest to the most supported:

Standard, from CHF 80 — we request your documents, prepare your return claiming every deduction you are entitled to, and file it.
Premium, from CHF 170 — everything in Standard, plus the deadline extension request, a review meeting and overall tax advice on your situation.
Confort, from CHF 340 — everything in Premium, plus representing you before the Cantonal Tax Administration, checking your tax assessment notice, filing an objection if needed, and unlimited calls and emails all year round.

The exact amount depends on your situation — marital status, children, sources of income, account statements, property — and is calculated in seven questions on this page.

I have a B permit and I'm taxed at source: is it worth filing a tax return?

Often, yes. The tax deducted from your salary is a flat scale: it takes no account of your pillar 3a, of a second-pillar buy-in, or of childcare, commuting or meal costs. A subsequent ordinary assessment (TOU) lets you claim these deductions.

We first work out what it would bring you. If it isn't in your favour, we tell you before taking any step — and note that the choice is in principle binding for the following years.

What is the filing deadline in the canton of Fribourg?

The ordinary deadline is 31 March of the year following the tax year. In Fribourg, extensions are granted in three-month instalments, for CHF 20 per request, by the Cantonal Tax Administration. We take care of this for you from the Premium package upwards.

In the other French-speaking cantons, we work to the applicable deadline. The earlier you send us your documents, the more room you have.

Imputed rental value is being abolished: what does that change for me?

The abolition takes effect on 1 January 2029. From then on, you will no longer be taxed on a notional rent for the home you live in — but in return, maintenance costs will no longer be deductible and the deduction of mortgage interest will be severely limited. An exception is planned for first-time buyers, and cantons will be able to tax second homes.

Up to and including the 2028 tax year, nothing changes. That is exactly the period in which it is worth thinking about the timing of your renovation work and your mortgage repayments: we will go through it with you.

Which documents do you need?

After your request, we send you the exact list for your situation, and a secure upload link. In practice: salary certificates, pillar 3a and pension fund statements, bank statements as at 31 December, health insurance premiums, medical costs, and for homeowners the mortgage statements and renovation invoices.

Do you only work in the canton of Fribourg?

No. We are based in Villars-sur-Glâne and we handle tax returns from all of French-speaking Switzerland. Everything is done remotely: you don't need to travel. If you would rather meet us, that is possible by appointment.
